North Yorkshire tourism hotspot, Brymor Ice Cream is launching a Halloween-themed adventure area at its site in Jervaulx, near Masham on October 8th, ready to welcome families for spooky fun and frolics.

In addition to the usual delicious ice cream, snacks and drinks, and indoor and outdoor play area, visitors can enjoy picking their own pumpkins (of varying sizes), go karts, football golf, football and a letter trail around site. There will even be trollies available to make collecting your pumpkin easier – or to simply pull along the little ones!

Project Manager, Penny Chapman said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming visitors to our new pumpkin area and can’t wait to see families enjoying the various activities in the stunning surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales.

“We’ve just opened beautiful walking routes around the perimeter of the site which link up to public footpaths, and our refreshed Autumn/Winter menu has launched, too so there is plenty to do for people of all ages.”

Brymor has sourced the pumpkins from local grower, James and Lindsay Hudson of JF Hudson/Wensleydale Pumpkins and will have orange pumpkins, Specter, Pink Crown Prince, Harlequin and a mixture of gourds.

The pumpkin area opens Saturday 8th October and will be open on Saturdays and Sundays until 22nd October when it will be open seven days a week for half term.
