Chopstix Donates 10,000 Free Meals Nationwide To Celebrate National Noodle Day

Chopstix noodle bar celebrates national noodle day with 10,000 free meals being given away across the UK with 200 free boxes of noodles available in Liverpool.

The nationwide noodle bar will be giving away 100 FREE boxes of noodles to the first customers on Thursday 6th October at the Liverpool  stores and 100 food vouchers will be donated to Liverpool West Everton Pantry and Vauxhall Pantry.

Chopstix Noodle Bar is supporting the nation by donating 10,000 boxes of noodles on National Noodle Day (6th October) across the UK, as the cost of living crisis continues to impact consumers.

Chopstix fans in Liverpool will be in with a chance of grabbing themselves a free box of small noodles, with 5,000 boxes of noodles being available to the first 100 customers at over 50 stores UK wide.

The Liverpool stores which are located at 52 Lord Street and in St. John’s Shopping Centre will be giving away 100 boxes of small noodles on Thursday 6th October to celebrate national noodle day, customers can download the free voucher by following the link – www.chopstixnoodles.co.uk/noodleday.

The noodle bar has also partnered with Your Local Pantry, which operates 80 community food hubs around the country, to donate 100 food vouchers to the West Everton and Vauxhall Pantries in Liverpool.

Chopstix will be donating 5,000 food vouchers which will be evenly shared across 80 of their neighbourhood food hubs in the UK. Whether it’s a speedy lunch or takeaway night, Chopstix wants everyone to be able to delight in their pan-asian flavours.

Bringing fresh and tasty dishes packed full of flavour, Chopstix will donate the staggering amount of boxes to customers and Your Local Pantry members, as they look to spread cheer and goodwill during testing times.

James Henderson from Your Local Pantry, said: “The Your Local Pantry network is growing rapidly, as more and more communities see the value and success of the approach. Maximising member choice is always important to us, so we’re very pleased and grateful to be able to partner with Chopstix in this way.”

Rob Burns, marketing director for Chopstix, said: “The last few years have been a challenging time for people across the UK and now the cost of living crisis is putting more and more people under continued pressure.

“We wanted to do something to mark National Noodle Day that would look to make even a little difference and give people something to smile about. We’re both excited and proud to be able to donate 10,000 noodle boxes to people across the UK during these uncertain times…and everyone loves noodles right?”

The initiative is part of Chopstix’s continued campaign of ‘Noodle Aid’ which aims to deliver noodles to a number of cities and places across the UK for free.

Noodle Aid launched officially in Manchester in 2020, when 400 food parcels were delivered to the Manchester Metropolitan University halls of residence to feed self-isolating students stuck in their flats. Arriving in style, a vintage WW2 tank dropped off 400 food parcels, along with the Noodle Aid platoon dressed in full army attire.

Since then, Noodle Aid has visited a number of cities across the country to give away free noodles.
