Queues of children went away very happy after seeing Santa at Storthes Hall Park this week with his reindeer and real snow also putting in an appearance!

Santa’s reindeesr and his cosy grotto were one of many events held at the country park venue near Huddersfield where a thriving Christmas market brought in visitors from across Yorkshire who happily browsed the gift and artisan stalls looking for that extra special present. A brass band and Christmas carolers were also on hand to keep the seasonal spirits high.

Storthes Hall Park also hosted a Craftea Christmas Workshop where guests enjoyed a mix of Hygge, handy crafts and design hints as they rejuvenated decorations and tucked into hot drinks and mince pies. Experts were also on hand to help guests pick up design ideas for the all-important Christmas dinner table.
