Following the highly anticipated reopening of its transformed rooftop destination, The Ivy Spinningfields Brasserie, Manchester, has unveiled a brand-new menu for The Ivy on the Roof, bringing together vibrant seasonal flavours, luxurious ingredients and dishes designed for long lunches, sunset cocktails and sociable summer dining.
Available from Friday 19th June, the refreshed menu has been curated to complement the rooftop’s new look and atmosphere, blending signature Ivy flair with contemporary and globally-inspired dishes.

Perfect for sharing with friends over drinks under the retractable roof, guests can begin with an array of elevated small plates and starters, including Royal Imperial Caviar served with buckwheat blinis, lemon, sour cream and chive; Yellowtail Ceviche with tiger’s milk, aji amarillo dressing and pickled apple, and Wagyu Tataki served with sweet soy, wasabi and crispy potato.

For those seeking lighter summer flavours, standout dishes include a Garden Pea & Mint Ravioli with asparagus, broad beans and basil oil, alongside a refreshing Heirloom Tomato and Watermelon Salad with plant-based cream cheese, pistachios and sherry dressing.

Seafood lovers can enjoy a selection of premium dishes including Snow Crab Maki Rolls with gochujang mayonnaise and yuzu pearls, Pan-Fried King Scallops with Bramley apple purée and tempura samphire, and a luxurious Queen Scallop & Prawn Linguine served in a rich lobster cream sauce.

The rooftop’s relaxed yet elevated atmosphere is reflected throughout the menu, with rich all-day dishes such as the Lobster & Prawn Roll with lemon and garlic butter, and the Roof Garden Wagyu Burger featuring dry-cured bacon, cheddar and gochujang mayonnaise.

For larger plates, guests can choose from a selection of expertly prepared meat and fish dishes, including Seared Yellowfin Tuna Steak with mango and chilli salsa, Roasted Lamb Rump with crushed peas and garden pesto, and the signature 48-Hour Miso Marinated Black Cod – a rich and buttery Alaskan sablefish slow-roasted and glazed to perfection.

To finish, a collection of theatrical desserts brings a sense of occasion to every visit. Highlights include the classic Ivy Chocolate Bombe, a Tableside Tiramisu served in front of guests for an extra special touch, and a Flambéed Crème Brûlée finished tableside with a golden caramelised crust. For those looking for a summer treat, the Pistachio & Chocolate Sundae combines pistachio gelato, mousse, kataifi pastry and warm white chocolate sauce.

Alongside the food offering, guests can enjoy an extensive drinks menu from the newly launched bar, making the rooftop an ideal destination for after-work drinks, weekend celebrations and special occasions throughout the summer season.

Marco Thorrington, Northern Executive Chef at The Ivy Collection, said: “Our rooftop has always been one of Manchester’s favourite destinations for celebrating special occasions, and this new menu has been designed to enhance that experience even further.

“From luxurious seafood and premium cuts to vibrant seasonal dishes and decadent desserts, we’ve created a menu that encourages guests to relax, share and savour every moment, whether they’re joining us for a long lunch in the sunshine, cocktails at golden hour or dinner beneath the city skyline.”
