It’s all treats and no tricks at Birdies Live ahead of its spooktacular two-day Halloween event.
The Cains Brewery bar and live music venue is hosting not one, but two fancy dress parties on October 31 and November 1.
Guys and ghouls can expect an evening of devilish beats by the Incredible 11, an 11 piece hip-hop and R‘n’B orchestra with support from DJ Rasp.
Especially for the occasion, the city’s coolest haunt will undergo a monster makeover with the bar serving up an array of frightfully delicious limited edition cocktails including ‘Franken-Stein’ (Dark Rum, Angostura Bitters, Pineapple and Lime topped with Ginger Beer) and ‘Blood & Gore’ (Whisky, Antica and a Cherry, Orange, Cranberry & Pomegranate blood sauce).
Not for the faint-hearted, guests can also get their hands on ‘Tom’s Thumb’ (Gin, Midori, Lime and Green Gomme Syrup topped with Lemonade), ‘Skreama Colada’ (Dark Rum, Coconut Rum, Pineapple and a mystery Black Brew) and ‘Eye See You’ (Vodka, Cointreau, Cranberry and Lime topped with Lemonade).
Beer fans need not fear as BrewDog’s Zombie Cake and Clockwork Tangerine will also be on the menu for £4.50.
Cocktails are priced at £6.50 and will be served at Birdies and Ghetto Golf from October 31 to November 3.
Tickets for Halloween at Birdies Live are priced at £5 (+£1 booking fee) and are available to book online via Skiddle.
