Victoria Leeds invites customers to create something spook-tacular at Halloween pop up

Calling all Vincent Van Ghouls… shoppers at Victoria Leeds are being invited to get scarily creative this Halloween, as the shopping destination announces it will be working with renowned illustrator, Scott Walker, to bring one of his giant, interactive colouring in walls to the city on 30-31 October

The New Zealand-born designer will create a spooky-themed Pentagon – a five-sided freestanding installation – that he will cover in his eye-catching black and white doodles, all with a Halloween twist.

As well as watching the artist in action over the two-day event, the people of Leeds are being invited to join in by helping Scott colour in the 5-meter installation all shades of the rainbow with child-friendly paint pens. The pop up will be located in the Victoria Quarter mall between 10am and 6pm and is completely free to join in.

Jo Colburn, General Manager at Victoria Leeds, said: “Not only is our doodle event a chance for families to get in the spirit of the Halloween season but it is also an opportunity for the people of Leeds to get together and have some fun. We can’t wait to see what designs Scott comes up with for the spookiest time of the year and hope to see lots of locals – of all ages – coming down to watch him in action.”

As well as getting involved in the painting, shoppers can grab a tasty seasonal drink from one of Victoria Leeds’s food and drink retailers.
