Chester is set to host a night of musical theatre like no other as Showstopper! The Improvised Musical takes the stage at Storyhouse on Thursday 3rd July.
Fresh from sell-out shows in the West End and glowing reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe, this Olivier Award-winning production is unlike anything else in live theatre. Each performance is entirely made up on the spot, with the cast creating a brand-new, fully-fledged musical based on audience suggestions — from location and plot to musical styles and title.

The cast includes some of the UK’s best-known comic and musical talent, including Ruth Bratt (Comedy Store Players), Pippa Evans (BBC Radio 4’s I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue), Matt Cavendish (Royal Variety Performance, Mischief Theatre), and Miracle Chance (Heathers, The Witches at the National Theatre).
