Students of Leeds were in for a treat when they returned to university this September, as The Royal Park Hotel reopened, following an investment of over £250,000.
Located on Queen’s Road, the venue has undergone a complete refurbishment, most-noticeably welcoming back the ‘Royal Park Cellars’, which is set to boast a club room and live music performances, perfect for those unforgettable student nights out. A new pergola has also been installed in the beer garden with a pool table for guests to play.
4 Sky boxes, 15 TVs and 5 different audio zones for sports commentary make the pub a dream location for sports fans to enjoy a fantastic sports offering, including Premier League football and all the Rugby World Cup action, with special early opening times when England are playing.
The Royal Park Hotel will be the ideal place to grab a drink with friends with plenty of deals available, from pints of cask ale starting at £1.95 to selected spirit and a mixers priced at £2.50.
The Royal Park Hotel is pulling out all the stops to ensure no night is a quiet one with a jam-packed weekly event schedule: Monday Night Football brings in the week, followed by Quids on Tuesdays, Poker Night on a Wednesdays, a Smartphone Quiz on Thursdays, Karaoke on Fridays and a written quiz on Sundays.
Rock and punk music fans will also be spoilt as the pub’s regular underground gigs will welcome crowd favourite bands including the Velvet Hands, Lizard Lab, The Claremont, Waterside, Melancholy Ray, Roaches, Fuzz Lightyear, Green Gardens and Hannah’s Little Sister. Solo artist, Kairos, will also be gracing the stage, adding to a fantastic line-up across September and October.
Kevin Bradley, General Manager of The Royal Park Hotel, said: “We are extremely excited to be re-opening The Royal Park Hotel. The investment has transformed the pub, and now the student offering is even better than before, with underground gigs scheduled and drinks offers.”
