Festive magic was in the air at Arighi Bianchi last Saturday (13 December), as more than 1,200 visitors flocked to the Macclesfield store for a Christmas family fun day featuring Santa Claus, his elves and real reindeer.
The day featured a full programme of festive activities across the store, including gifts from Father Christmas, a free in-store Christmas adventure trail and craft sessions led by Chester Zoo rangers. Arighi’s Caffè AB served up festive breakfasts and a special children’s menu alongside its regular brunch and lunch offerings.
Fundraising on the day supported East Cheshire Hospice, reflecting Arighi Bianchi’s long-standing commitment to this important local charity, and Chester Zoo, Arighi’s 2025 charity partner chosen for its strong focus on education, conservation and family engagement.
“Events like this are about more than footfall,” said Sarah Bianchi, CEO of Arighi Bianchi. “They’re about creating experiences that bring families together while giving something back to the community that has supported us for generations. Supporting East Cheshire Hospice reflects our commitment to local causes, while our ongoing partnership with Chester Zoo allows us to create engaging, educational experiences for families in a way that feels genuinely meaningful.
“A good time was had by all – with the event capturing the spirit of the season and creating lasting memories for families across Macclesfield and beyond. Thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, especially the reindeer who were a big hit with guests!”
