Morpeth Markets will host a final street food event of the year this Bank Holiday Weekend on Saturday and Sunday [26th and 27th August] from 11am – 3pm, serving up two days of good food, cold pints and fabulous music.
Phi Pie will be trading all weekend, cooking the very best in Greek street food. Geordie Bangers are also trading both days with a great range of their famous gourmet sausages.
Saturday traders include; What the Crust with classic Italian pizzas, The Fat Philly, with the best cheese steaks and loaded fries in the North East and Big Fat Donut Co, the fattest donuts from the Toon!
Cold pints will be available all weekend from Caps Off Brewery and visitors will be treated to a relaxed summer atmosphere accompanied by live DJ set from DJ Lewie Carr from 11am.
Sunday traders include; Fat Hippo with their amazing burgers and Don Cini cooking up delicious, fresh arancini.
Lottie Thompson, Centre Manager for Sanderson Arcade, said: “We have a fantastic group of foodie vendors joining us this Bank Holiday weekend, meaning there will be something for everyone. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed for some sunshine, so we can all enjoy some delicious food and chilled music.”
The team at Sanderson Arcade will also be hosting their final Summer Social event on Saturday with Spinning Superiority DJing chilled Summer sounds from 2pm – 5:30pm. The centre also has a FREE face painter from 2pm – 4pm.
Other upcoming markets include, Morpeth Farmers Market which return next Saturday [2nd September] and Morpeth Makers Market which will be back on 23rd September.
