Kids across the North are being given the chance to become Disney stars thanks to online audition process.

Training gurus Stagebox have centres across the country, including Manchester and Leeds where they nurture and develop the country’s leading young talent.

The Disney-approved programme has produced actors that have gone on to star in films such as Rocketman and Cats, as well as stage productions like School of Rock and Matilda.

Families can now register their young ones for the virtual auditions, where they will be given singing, acting and dancing tutoring from top coaches.

There will also be the chance to watch a virtual open day behind the scenes.

Stagebox founders Emily and LJ Keston said: “‘We are thrilled to have our Stagebox “Mini Hamilton” cover featured and recognised by Disney+. We are honoured and inspired that Stagebox has been asked to feature in such a high profile industry release worldwide.’

Matthew Illesley, 10, from Gloucestershire, was discovered at aged just seven years old and landed the lead role of Young Reggie in Hollywood feature film Paramount Pictures, Rocketman.

And nine-year-old Olivia Brooks, from Worcester in the Midlands, recently landed a role in the feature film of Tom Hooper’s CATS and she is currently in the UK Tour of Nativity! The Musical.
