Wine and cheese fans are in for a treat this October as Delifonseca Dockside gets ready for a Cheese & Tipple Evening.

Taking place on Friday, October 11th at 7pm, the event will be all about enjoying wine and cheese pairings and learning why certain combinations work so well together.

Delifonseca Dockside, based on Brunswick Dock, just a short drive from Liverpool’s city centre, is both a deli and a restaurant. The deli is full of cheeses, wines and other great produce, while the restaurant is known for its fresh, high-quality dishes that make the most of what’s on offer.

Proprietor Candice Fonseca said: “We love showing off great produce, and this evening is a perfect way to do just that. Wine and cheese are two things we’re really passionate about and pairing them together is always a fun experience for our guests.

“We’ll have some well-known favourites on the menu, but also a few unexpected combinations that might surprise people. It’s going to be a relaxed, enjoyable evening where everyone can sit back, try something new, and just enjoy themselves.”

The evening will start with baked Camembert served with Brittany Cider, followed by a cheeseboard featuring classic pairings. Guests can enjoy combinations like Sauvignon Blanc with goats’ cheese, Cabernet Sauvignon with aged cheddar, and Pinot Noir with soft, ripe brie. Other cheeses will be added to round out the selection. To finish the night, a baked cheesecake will be served alongside a dessert wine.

Candice added: “With tickets priced at £60 per person, this Cheese & Tipple Evening will be a relaxed night for anyone who loves good food and drink. We’ve done this event before, and it’s always great to see how much people enjoy it. It’s the perfect way to enjoy an autumn evening with great company and a few laughs.”
