Wedding Open Day at Storthes Hall Park

Storthes Hall Park near Huddersfield is all set to welcome would-be brides and grooms on Sunday April 28 for its very first wedding open day at the historic venue.

The impressive country house is expecting hundreds of happy couples plus relatives to head down to see the venue as well as meet & greet a host of hand-picked suppliers.

Guests will enjoy free fizz and canapes on arrival before strolling around the hall and 44-acre grounds or enjoy a guided tour. A live DJ, harpist, make-up and botox artists, bridalwear, wedding cakes, vintage cars and photographers will be there on the day, displaying and advising on what can make any wedding extra special. There will also be a floristry demonstration, hand tying and broom jumping ceremonies and cocktail sampling.

Storthes Hall Park Events and Commercial Manager Mandy White said: “We are very excited about this event as it will show off the venue at its very best. We have a really versatile space in beautiful grounds that are perfect for those looking for a romantic setting for their big day.

She added: “Bookings for this year and into 2020 are already at an all-time high and the fact we can also accommodate up to 125 guests who want to stay overnight makes it even more appealing.”
