Do you need to train for it? It depends! A small amount of training will help, especially for the longer distances, but Rough Runner is not just for the physical elite. Instead it acts as an ideal way for people to get off the sofa and involved in physical activity, whilst also providing a challenge for seasoned runners. The different distances make it accessible for all and most importantly, it’s not a race! Pace yourself however you like and enjoy the camaraderie, surrounded by your friends and fellow Roughians.
